6 Day TK Rongai Climb - Advantage Series with a 7 Day Safari to Four Seasons Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire & Lake Manyara - with flight to Seronera
This safari itinerary is recommended only in the month of July when we expect the Migration to be in Central Serengeti.
Arrival
July 2023: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
Once you have completed customs formalities and collected your luggage, please exit the airport building and then look out for our driver who should be wearing a black Team Kilimanjaro t-shirt and carrying a placard with your name on it, who will be waiting under a shelter for you at the meeting point outside. Our driver will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha for your overnight stay.
Your chief guide will come to your hotel for your pre-climb briefing at approximately 1800, during which he will introduce himself, brief you on everything that will be happening throughout the duration of the climb, check any kit that you may have concerns over, issue any kit hire items that have been requested and he will also deal with any final pre-climb administration and answer any questions you may have.
Kilimanjaro
Day 1: Your mountain guide and supporting crew will collect you from your hotel at approximately 0730 to transfer you to Kilimanjaro's Naro Moru Gate to start your 6 day TK Rongai βAdvantage Seriesβ climb.

Day 6: We will collect you from Marangu Gate when you finish your climb and we will return you to your hotel in Arusha for your overnight stay.
Optional: If requested, your safari guide will come to your hotel at approximately 1800, during which he will introduce himself, brief you on everything that will be happening during the safari, and answer any questions you may have.
Safari
Late morning transfer to Four Seasons Serengeti for check-in to your Horizon Water Hole View room with a single and a double bed configuration.
Days 1 - 3: Game drives with Four Seasons Serengeti guide within the heart of the wildebeest migration for 3 days.
Day 4: After a leisurely breakfast you will be collected by our safari driver for transfer to Ngorongoro Crater Rim with game drives en route to AndBeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Early morning descent into Crater for game drives in hopes of witnessing the Big 5. In Africa, the Big Five is made up of the lion, rhinoceros, leopards, elephant and Cape buffalo. All of these animals are viewable within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, including the crater and are protected thanks to the wildlife conservation efforts of Tanzania.
Afternoon transfer to Lake Manyara for game viewing. Overnight at AndBeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge.
Day 6: Morning game drives in Lake Manyara. Afternoon transfer to Tarangire National Park with game drives en route to Lemala Mpingo Ridge Lodge for your over night stay.
Day 7: Morning game drives within Tarangire National Park. Late afternoon transfer to Arusha for overnight.

Departure
Last day: Youβll need to check-out of your hotel by late morning, however, if you wish to wander into town for the day, you may leave your bags with reception and may continue to use the hotelβs facilities. Please let us know if you need a guide to accompany you or if you wish to organise any special activities today.
Please be ready to be collected for your airport transfer at least 3 hours before, to ensure sufficient time to check-in for your flight departing JRO.
