4 Day Safari to Lake Manyara, Lake Eyasi, Ngorongoro Crater, & Tarangire

Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park
Depart at approximately 0730 for Lake Manyara National Park, a compact but diverse park set beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park features groundwater forest, open grasslands, and a shallow soda lake that attracts a wide variety of birdlife.
Lake Manyara is well known for its tree-climbing lions, as well as elephant, giraffe, buffalo, and large troops of baboons.
Later in the day, transfer to Ziwani Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Lake Eyasi Cultural Visit
Awake before dawn for a truly immersive cultural experience. Depart your lodge to meet the Hadzabe, one of Africa's last true hunter-gatherer tribes, whose language includes distinctive click sounds. You'll join the men on a traditional hunt using bows and arrows, learning ancient tracking skills. Later, visit a settlement of the Datoga people, skilled blacksmiths, to see their craftsmanship. This is not a performance; it's a privileged insight into resilient, traditional ways of life that have endured for millenniaβa profound human highlight of your safari.
Transfer in the afternoon to Angata Ngorongoro Camp.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
Depart early this morning at approximately 0700 for your descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, carrying a packed breakfast to enjoy during your game drive. The crater floor offers one of the most concentrated wildlife experiences in Africa, with excellent chances of seeing lion, elephant, buffalo, zebra, and, with luck, the elusive black rhinoceros.
The Ngorongoro Crater is often referred to as a natural amphitheatre, formed by the collapse of a volcanic caldera, and supports a remarkable diversity of wildlife within a relatively compact area.
In the late afternoon, ascend the crater and transfer to Angata Tarangire Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Tarangire to Arusha or JRO
Enjoy a final morning game drive in Tarangire National Park. Search for any species you may have missed and bid farewell to the iconic baobab landscapes. After lunch, begin the scenic drive back to Arusha, or to JRO for your departing flight.
