KASP 301

Arrival

Day 1: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).

Once you have completed customs formalities and collected your luggage, please exit the airport building and then look out for our driver who should be wearing a black Team Kilimanjaro t-shirt and carrying a placard with your name on it, who will be waiting under a shelter for you at the meeting point outside. Our driver will transfer you to Four Points By Sheraton, where you will spend your 2 nights before your Kilimanjaro climb.

Day 2: For your day at leisure, please let us know whether you need any assistance with organising activities for this day or whether you wish for your guide to accompany you into town for the day.

Your chief guide will come to Four Points By Sheraton for your pre-climb briefing at approximately 1800, during which he will introduce himself, brief you on everything that will be happening throughout the duration of the climb, check any kit that you may have concerns over, issue any kit hire items that have been requested and he will also deal with any final pre-climb administration and answer any questions you may have.

Kilimanjaro

Day 3: Your mountain guide and supporting crew will collect you from your hotel at approximately 0730 to transfer you to Kilimanjaro's Lemosho Gate to start your open 8 day TK Lemosho β€˜Advantage Series’ climb.

Safari

Day 11: Your Safari guide will collect you from Four Points By Sheraton in Arusha at approximately 0830 for transfer to Tarangire game drives. Late afternoon transfer to Tarangire Safari Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 12: After a relaxed breakfast at the lodge, the morning will be spent exploring Tarangire National Park on further game drives.

Renowned as a prime birdwatching location, Tarangire National Park is also home to a large concentration of wildlife, particularly in the dry season when animals are drawn to the Tarangire River, the area’s only water source. The park’s landscape is equally captivating, dotted with magnificent baobab trees that enhance the scenic beauty.

Late afternoon transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for your overnight stay on the Crater rim at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 13: Early morning descent into Crater for game drives in hopes of witnessing the Big 5. In Africa, the Big Five is made up of the lion, rhinoceros, leopards, elephant and Cape buffalo. All of these animals are viewable within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, including the crater and are protected thanks to the wildlife conservation efforts of Tanzania.

Afternoon transfer to Arusha for your overnight stay.
