3 Day Safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater & Manyara
Day 1 / 1 April 2026: Tarangire National Park
Depart Arusha at approximately 0730 for the drive to Tarangire National Park. Enter the park for an introductory game drive, scanning for its famous elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. This park offers a classic, less-crowded safari feel.
Overnight at TARANGIRE – Angata Tarangire Camp.
Day 2 / 2 April 2026: Tarangire National Park
Today offers the luxury of time to fully immerse yourself in Tarangire's ecosystem. After a relaxed breakfast, depart at 0730 for a full-day exploration. Your guide will take you to the most productive areas along the Tarangire River's winding course, where wildlife activity peaks. With patience, you may witness intimate animal behaviors: elephants digging for water in the sand rivers, lionesses teaching cubs to hunt, or towering giraffes browsing acacia canopies. This extended time allows for quiet moments of observation that turn good sightings into great memories.
Return to NGORONGORO – Angata Ngorongoro Camp in the late afternoon.
Day 3 / 3 April 2026: Tarangire to Ngorongoro
Enjoy a final morning game drive in Tarangire National Park, departing at 0730. Search for any species you may have missed and bid farewell to the iconic baobab landscapes. After lunch, begin the scenic drive upwards, arriving at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the afternoon.
Overnight at on the crater rim.
Day 4 / 4 April 2026: Ngorongoro Crater
Depart early this morning at approximately 0700 for your descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, carrying a packed breakfast to enjoy during your game drive. The crater floor offers one of the most concentrated wildlife experiences in Africa, with excellent chances of seeing lion, elephant, buffalo, zebra, and, with luck, the elusive black rhinoceros.
The Ngorongoro Crater is often referred to as a natural amphitheatre, formed by the collapse of a volcanic caldera, and supports a remarkable diversity of wildlife within a relatively compact area.
In the late afternoon, ascend the crater and transfer to for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 / 5 April 2026: Lake Manyara National Park
Depart at approximately 0730 for Lake Manyara National Park, a compact but diverse park set beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park features groundwater forest, open grasslands, and a shallow soda lake that attracts a wide variety of birdlife.
Lake Manyara is well known for its tree-climbing lions, as well as elephant, giraffe, buffalo, and large troops of baboons.
Later in the day, transfer to for dinner and overnight.
