2 Day Safari to Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater
Recommended from August to September and December to February.
Day 1: Collected from your hotel in Arusha at 0730 and transferred to Lake Manyara for game drive. February is good for game generally and in addition we hope to find tree-climbing lions, and a good population of flamingo and migratory birdlife.
Afternoon transfer to the Ngorongoro Crater rim for dinner and overnight in Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
Day 2: It's advantageous to descend into the crater as soon after 0630 as possible, with a breakfast box, in the hope of discovering some of the more shy species that may be near the road, before the movement of many few vehicles disperses them away. However, the Crater is home to a very dense concentration of many species of game that we may expect to see throughout the day.
Afternoon transfer to your hotel in Arusha for overnight or direct to Kilimanjaro International Airport if you have an evening flight booked today.
