8 Day TK Lemosho Hemingway Climb
Arrival
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport at 03:35 (TK 564), you will be met on the runway tarmac by the VIP Airport Services team and escorted to the VIP lounge. While you relax in the lounge, your luggage will be collected and your visa and immigration formalities will be completed.
Once ready, you will be escorted to the airport meeting point, where your Team Kilimanjaro driver will be waiting for you, wearing a black Team Kilimanjaro T-shirt and carrying a placard with your name. You will then be transferred to Simba Farm Lodge to rest before your climb.
You'll have a few hours to relax at Simba Farm before lunch. This will give you the opportunity to catch up on some sleep and to maximise your rest, hydration and food intake before beginning your eight-day TK Lemosho climb. During the briefing, your guide will introduce himself, talk you through everything that will happen throughout the climb, check any kit you may have concerns about, issue any requested kit-hire items, complete any final pre-climb administration and answer any questions you may have.

Your mountain guide and supporting crew will collect you after lunch at your hotel to transfer you the short ride to Kilimanjaro's Lemosho Gate to start your open 8 Day TK Lemosho Hemingway Series’ climb.

Following the completion of your climb, you will be transferred to Arusha for a well-deserved overnight stay at the Gran Meliá Arusha – Red Level Junior Suite, where you can relax and recover after your Kilimanjaro adventure.
Departure
Our driver will collect you from the Gran Meliá Arusha on 18th October, allowing around three hours before your scheduled departure. You will then be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your flight departing at 05:05 (TK 5563).
