Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Seronera and Mara - with Flight

Day 1 / 21 August 2026: Tarangire National Park

Depart Arusha at approximately 0730 and travel to Tarangire National Park for your first game drives. Tarangire is known for its large elephant population, classic savannah landscapes, and the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife throughout the dry season.

The park is also notable for its ancient baobab trees and excellent birdlife, with a wide range of species recorded year-round.

In the late afternoon, transfer to Angata Ngorongoro Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 / 22 August 2026: Ngorongoro Crater

Depart early this morning at approximately 0700 for your descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, carrying a packed breakfast to enjoy during your game drive. The crater floor offers one of the most concentrated wildlife experiences in Africa, with excellent chances of seeing lion, elephant, buffalo, zebra, and, with luck, the elusive black rhinoceros.

The Ngorongoro Crater is often referred to as a natural amphitheatre, formed by the collapse of a volcanic caldera, and supports a remarkable diversity of wildlife within a relatively compact area.

In the late afternoon, ascend the crater and transfer to Angata Serengeti Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 / 23 August 2026: Serengeti National Park (Seronera Region)

After breakfast, depart at around 0730 for game drives in the Seronera region of the Serengeti. This area is famed for its year-round wildlife concentrations and is one of the best locations in East Africa for observing large predators in their natural environment.

During your game drives, you may encounter prides of lion, solitary leopards resting in acacia trees, and cheetahs scanning the plains, alongside large herds of herbivores.

In the late afternoon, continue to Angata Mara Migration Camp for your overnight stay.

Day 4 / 24 August 2026: Northern Serengeti to Arusha

Enjoy one final morning game drive in the Northern Serengeti, departing from camp at 0730. Soak in your last views of the Mara River region and its wildlife. Return to camp for lunch before transferring to Kogatende Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey.
